A Different Kind of Campaign Begins

There are times in life when you look at the world around you, take a slow breath, and realize… something’s just not right.

Not hopeless.
Not broken.

Just not the country you believe we’re capable of being.

I’m Joey Osborne, and I’m running for Congress.

But before we talk about politics, I just want to speak to you as a friend—a friend who loves this place and wants to see it steady again.

Why I’m Running

My decision to run didn’t come from ambition, or frustration, or some dramatic moment.

And I definitely don’t need a job.

It came from something much quieter—a simple morning, a cup of coffee, and the growing sense that our country feels tired.

Not defeated.
Just tired.

You probably feel it too. Tired of the arguing. Tired of the noise. Tired of political leaders—both liberals and conservatives—who seem more interested in winning a fight than solving a problem. But even in that tiredness, I see hope. And I bet you do as well.

Real hope.

Because underneath the division, Americans still show up for each other. We work together. We go to church together. We still want good things for our families. We still want honesty, stability, humility— things our politics doesn’t offer much of these days.

And that’s what stirred something in me.

What I Want to Bring

I’ve spent my life building businesses, facing challenges, learning the hard way. I’ve failed often, but I’ve always tried to do right by people.

Lately, I’ve felt called to bring a calmer, steadier presence to a political world that desperately needs it.

Not a louder voice—a clearer one.

Not someone pointing fingers— but someone extending a hand.

Not someone yelling “shut up,” but someone saying, “speak up.”

Someone who understands what it’s like to work, to struggle, to raise a family, to hope this country stays a place where ordinary people still have a say.

I’m not running because I have all the answers. I’m running because I believe the answers we need right now start with listening, with humility, and with remembering that leadership is supposed to feel like service—not spewing hateful political rhetoric and blame.

When—if ever—have you heard a politician say, “This is my fault. I screwed up. I could have done better”? They never do.

What’s at Stake

I want my daughters—and your children—to inherit an America that feels grounded again. Where disagreement doesn’t destroy us. Where the people we elect actually remember who they’re there for.

So today, I’m inviting you to join me at the beginning of something hopeful.

Because deep down, most of us don’t want extremes. We can still be conservatives, liberals, and moderates. We couldn’t change that even if we wanted to. But what can change is the way we speak to each other. The way we negotiate. The way we handle our disagreements.

Politicians benefit most when voters are divided. They have every incentive to keep us stirred up and fighting.

So I’m running for Congress to prove that the people are ready to say: “We’ve had it. We’re not taking it anymore. We want our country back.”

We want a country that feels like home again.

What I Believe Is Possible

I want to see our country become a place where disagreement doesn’t turn into hostility. Where leaders aren’t afraid to listen. Where honesty isn’t treated like a liability. And where the people—regular, everyday Americans—still have a real voice.

If you’re like me and want a different tone in politics—a steadier, calmer, more human approach—
I’d be honored if you’d follow this journey.
